Saint-Flour: the town

Saint-Flour (pop. 7000) is in the mountains of the Auvergne, 100 km south of Clermont Ferrand. It is an old ville perchée with part of the ancient city wall intact. In the heart of the old town the streets are cobbled and there are many places where you can shop in the boutiques or sit at a café.
