We had a wonderful time in France, and especially in Saint-Flour. I can't wait to return!

Thank you for the use of your beautiful house in Saint-Flour. We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect, just what we needed: a break from the hectic pace.

The house has been a delight and lives up to the prospectus details … the town and surroundings have given us great pleasure.

We loved the daily trips to the boulangerie and all the great things this place has to offer. THANK YOU!

It's been a rewarding and satisfying experience living in Saint-Flour— where few tourists venture, it would seem. To observe the everyday activities, listen to this beautifully lilting accent, and taste the local cuisine of the town has been our delight.

To look up towards Saint-Flour, or to look down towards the lower town, present breathtaking views.

As inexperienced Aussie skiers we had a great day at Le Lioran ski resort, a short half-hour drive west of Saint-Flour. Beautiful pine tree surroundings. The téléphérique area is great for families and beginners. Prices of hire etc are very reasonable and there are cafés right on the ski fields.

As a family of five we couldn't have asked for a better place to settle down after travelling for a month.

Hanging basket on a corner in Saint-Flour

Thank you for enabling us to have the most wonderful week! We adored the cottage, Saint-Flour, and the amazing Auvergne countryside.

We had most of our meals in since we'd been on the road for a while by then and it was nice to just go and buy the lovely stuff in the Saint-Flour shops and market. Les fromages!

The locals were so helpful. I thought the French were supposed to be dour!

Thanks for the opportunity to stay in Rue Sorel. We loved it and it made a perfect start to our weeks away. As a bonus we struck their local festival, Hautes-Terres and could sample the local food, music, and dance.
