‘As inexperienced Aussie skiers we had a great day at Le Lioran ski resort, a short half-hour drive west of Saint-Flour. Beautiful pine tree surroundings. The téléphérique area is great for families and beginners. Prices of hire etc are very reasonable and there are cafés right on the ski fields.’
